This place was really good and the food tasted fresh. The prices were a little steep for Mexican food, and I'm not sure if this was because it's next to the casino or what not. I also waited for quite some time, but it was not so bad.I got the shrimp cocktail and some other things. The shrimp cocktail was my favorite though.

When you are the only white people in a Mexican restaurant, you know it will be good. BONUS if it's a Sunday and Mexican families come in after church, with the women still wearing lace mantillas. Then you KNOW it's going to be good. Salsa's is GOOD. It was a rainy July day and our first-ever trip to Salsa's. It's easy to find at the intersection of the 111 and Date Palm Drive. It's in a very low-key strip mall. One of the staff opened the door for us and greeted us. We took one of the three available tables, the others were full. Our server was Valeria, and she was lovely. Very sweet and friendly. She took our orders with a smile. My wife and I ordered jamaica and horchata. I ordered two shrimp tacos and Jean ordered one fish and one shrimp. The drinks are huge! and very good. The tacos were the stars of the meal. I have honestly never had a better shrimp taco. We shared a piece of the flan for dessert. OMG. It's incredible. Cannot say enough good things about Salsa's. Just wonderful food, service and ambiance. Can't wait to return.

I encourage you to leave the main palm springs strip for amazing and authentic mexican food!! After the amazing food and hospitality Moises gave us at crudo we stopped by his other establishment, Salsas. About a 15min drive from downtown palm springs with lots of parking and next to a casino. I'm NOT a mimosa type of gal but their guayaba and jamaica mimosa was to die for. So damn good i ordered a second guayaba mimosa. This is very unlike me. Green chicken enchiladas - The sauce was tangy and amazing. Filled with all white chicken and came with a side of rice and beans. Chille Relleno- as if my mother was in that kitchen making them. Batter was great and light Pan de elote - a sophisticated, upscale tamal de elote. Light but flavorful. I don't care how full you feel just order it. Once again the customer service was beyond amazing. Everyone was on top of checking in on us, making recommendations, getting to know us and in overall great spirits. Don't be a Nathan, review below mine. I encourage you to try this amazing establishment vs going off of negative reviews by non raza and be a judge for yourself.
